See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Hello. I am Goratrix bani Tremere of the Draconic Wizard Workshop. I’m a fictive, sourced from a canon-divergent Vampire: the Masquerade game. I write essays and do panels for various conventions in the alterhuman community. My and the rest of my system’s writing can be found on our personal website, here, although I am the main contributor. I have a dragon archetrope and have written about that as well. I run the Fictionkind Dreamwidth (see below) and am generally happy to talk and answer questions. If you are a sourcemate or a double, I highly encourage you to reach out.

However, if you are here to argue with my existence or harass me for being “problematic,” save your time and mine. I don’t care and block very liberally. Show respect or don’t show at all. If you discriminate against people (you are queerphobic, racist, anti-endogenic, etc.) the door is right there.

That being said, don’t be driven off by my demeanor. I do appreciate questions and conversation.

I run the fictionkind dreamwidth. Come check it out if you’re fictionfolk of any description–fictionkind, fictionhearted, a fictive, have a hearthome, whatever. See if you want to hang out. We let you post basically whatever and have prompts every so often if you want to answer them.

If you’re looking for the host or anyone else in the system, try over at @tanix-dragon. As this is a sideblog, I follow from there as well.

My blog’s header art was done by @totallynotasubliminalcircle, which we commissioned her for. As a friend of ours, we trusted her to get my look right. She did not disappoint.

Do you like my work? Did one of my essays or panels help you? Please consider donating to my Ko-Fi. Thank you. :] If you are someone who likes how my voice sounds (particularly someone who, at Othercon, has said that they want me to read audiobooks or similar), you can pay me to read things out for you. Contact me and we can talk.

There's "calling nonhumans people" discourse again and obviously first and foremost if someone requests not to be called a person, you need to respect that preference. That's just courtesy. However I will say that this all seems pointless to me as someone who grew up on and now writes science fiction. I thought we all knew the word person exists in situations like ours to include non-human intelligent life, isn't that what you are? Idk about you all but the shows and books I was autistic about in grade school were training me for this all along

Wizards are not naturally immortal, in fact creating their own form of immortality is their graduate thesis.

“I have created a perpetual healing spell.”

“A classic. Congratulations.”

“If my soul leaves my body, this spell will keep it around and lucid enough to magic myself back together.”

“Effective. Next?”

“My spell feeds off the life force of microscopic things! When bacteria die near me, it adds to my total. Wiping down the sink with antibacterial cleaner gives me SUCH a buzz; I think I may have to dial it down a bit.”

“…I would be very curious to see your notes about this spell.”

“I tied my body’s physical shape to my self-image. As long as I feel young, I won’t age.”

“I see it also gave you… ah…”

“Massive dobonhonkeroos?”

“I was trying to find a more diplomatic way to bring it up.”

“An unexpected side effect, but not an unwelcome one.”

“Shall I assume it’s she/her from here on out, then?”

“Oh yes.”
